John James Valley's

I drew the horse's head and front legs with a lot of detail. As the horse gallops, slowly the body's breaking up
into shards of shrapnel, cascading down to the rear of the stallion forming a chaotic abstraction.
This represents the thermodynamic theory of "order to disorder" or more commonly known as
entropy by Rudolf Clausius.

The Anatomy Of A Mechanized Stallion

A few years ago at the art studio I was working in. I was talking to a fellow artist and a studiomate
about the series of drawings that I was working on called "The Anatomy Of A Mechanized Stallion".
I told him how I was discovering new aspects in my artwork, and he replied "it sounds as if you're
on a journey", and he was right! So I decided to write this journal of my journey in hopes that other
artists may seek inspiration.
